Please keep in mind that in order to book Sheltered Reality to perform for your event, it is best to contact us 4-6 months in advance.  If you contact us only 3 months in advance (or less), then it is highly possible that the date you are wanting to book has already been filled, but please email us to check on your date.

Church bookings
For churches. To present a brief (15 minute) overview of SR and to perform the postlude and/or offertory during the worship service, we ask that a freewill offering be taken during the service. In order to have time to present our entire message and mission, we would prefer to do a show separate from the worship service, perhaps in the afternoon or evening. A $300.00 fee would apply to the full-length show. Providing a meal for the performers would be appreciated, but is not required. There could be anywhere from 5 to 15 drummers at one of these performances, which would last approximately 1 to 2 hours.

School bookings
For schools. We perform 4 or 5 songs and present a message pertaining to character education during a school assembly that would last approximately one hour. We present a message about success, achievement, citizenship and changing the world. We include a fun portion at the end of the assembly to teach everyone that doing good can, and should, be fun. We like to have ALL ages when we do assemblies; so please include the elementary grades when possible. We have a $275.00 fee per assembly (but negotiable, especially if there will be multiple assemblies in the same town.)

SUMMARY FOR SCHOOLS:

• $275.00 PER assembly fee (contact us for negotiated fees)
• Don't leave the younger kids out, as we have a special message for them
• We can do up to 4 shows per school day if schools not too far apart, or if we stay in one location

Conference bookings
SR is often asked to perform at educational and other professional conferences, and we are glad to do so. The best conference performance for SR is when all conference attendees are gathered together in one setting. This is an effective time and place for our message and music. Our presentation can be of any length. Traditionally, conference honorariums have ranged from $500.00 to $1000.00, depending on the budget. For smaller conferences, we are able to negotiate lower fees as well. We also ask to set up a table for donations for CDs and other SR products that conference attendees often want.

SUMMARY FOR CONFERENCES:

• $350.00-$1000.00 honorarium normally, but negotiable
• Presentations are most effective when all attendees are gathered together
• Donation table for CDs and other SR products very helpful

Fairs, Festivals & Parades
Our summer calendar is usually filled with summer performances at town festivals, county fairs, state fairs and other celebratory events. For our summer events, we can perform anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes for a fee of $350. We bring a lot of energy and fun to every performance, but we still include the message.  If you’d like us to be a part of your parade as well, that adds $100 to the fee and we will need you to provide a full-size flatbed trailer and a 3500 watt (minimum) generator.

SUMMARY FOR FAIRS, FESTIVALS & PARADES:

• $350.00 per show, $500 with parade.
• 90 minutes is maximum performance time.

Other bookings
For other events/concerts/etc. Other events that have proven successful include outside concerts, youth group lock-ins, benefits (i.e. Relay for Life events) and community awareness meetings. However, we can play and bring our message to almost any event, so if you are interested in having us come, do not hesitate to ask! The length of these other performances typically range from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on what the event is. Our fee for these other events varies from $300.00 to $500.00.
