The School Backpack project is a very simple project that anyone can do anytime of the year. First, you need to have your group supply backpacks. Once the backpacks are collected, simply provide a list of what any kid would need to succeed in school. That list would include things such as: notebooks, pencils, folders, crayons, and any other items you all might think of.
Once the products are collected, distribute them thoroughly in all the collected backpacks and have them donated either to a place in the community, or contact us, and we will distribute them for you!
This project is often completed by many groups when the school year starts, but not many people think of it during the school year. One thing to remember is that kids will be kids, and often use up their items, or happen to lose them and kids less fortunate can’t always run to the store to pick up new supplies.
The local shelters or community groups that receive these filled backpacks are often elated to receive so many school supplies…and the kids receiving the backpacks are excited to know that others in the community are willing and wanting to help them succeed to obtaining a great education.
