Booking Sheltered Reality

Sheltered Reality is in constant demand, and although often behind on scheduling events, we are trying to streamline this process...therefore, please use the e-mail address below that describes where you would like to book a SR performance...and we will be in touch ASAP... Church bookings
For churches. To present a brief (15 minute) overview of SR and to perform the postlude and/or offertory during the worship service, we ask that a freewill offering be taken during the service. In order to have time to present our entire message and mission, we would prefer to do a show separate from the worship service, perhaps in the afternoon or evening. A $300.00 fee would apply to the full-length show. Providing a meal for the performers would be appreciated, but is not required. There could be anywhere from 5 to 15 drummers at one of these performances, which would last approximately 1 to 2 hours. Anyone who makes a donation to SR will receive our current CD.

SUMMARY FOR CHURCHES:

Conference bookings
For professional conferences. SR is often asked to perform at educational and other professional conferences, and we are glad to do so. The best conference performance for SR is when all conference attendees are gathered together in one setting. This is an effective time and place for our message and music. Our presentation can be of any length. Traditionally, conference honorariums have ranged from $500.00 to $1000.00, depending on the budget. For smaller conferences, we are able to negotiate lower fees as well. We also ask to set up a table for donations for CDs and other SR products that conference attendees often want.

SUMMARY FOR CONFERENCES:

• $500.00-$1000.00 honorarium normally, but negotiable
• Presentations are most effective when all attendees are gathered together
• Donation table for CDs and other SR products very helpful

School bookings
For schools. We perform 4 or 5 songs and present a message pertaining to character education during a school assembly that would last approximately one hour. We present a message about success, achievement, citizenship and changing the world. We include a fun portion at the end of the assembly to teach everyone that doing good can, and should, be fun. Every school we perform at is encouraged to act on our message by participating in a mission project. We like to have ALL ages when we do assemblies; so please include the elementary grades when possible. We have a $250.00 fee per assembly (but negotiable, especially if there will be multiple assemblies in the same town.)

SUMMARY FOR SCHOOLS:

• $250.00 PER assembly fee (but negotiable, especially if you need 3 or more assemblies)
• Don't leave the younger kids out, as we have a special message for them
• We can do up to 4 shows per school day if schools not too far apart, or if we stay in one location

Other bookings
For other events/concerts/etc. Other events that have proven successful include outside concerts, youth group lock-ins, community awareness meetings, fairs, festivals, and parades. However, we can play and bring our message to almost any event, so if you are interested in having us come, do not hesitate to ask! The length of these other performances typically range from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on what the event is. Our fee for these other events varies from $300.00 to $500.00. If you would like us to participate in a parade, we will require a generator with a minimum of 3500 watts, and a flat-bed trailer, preferably equipped with rails and straps to tie down our drums.

• Successful examples are outside concerts, lock-ins, and community concerts
